🪔 Satya is one of the names through which many people first discover Indian incense. The story of Shrinivas Sugandhalaya began in 1964, when K. N. Satyam Setty opened a small incense unit and developed the traditional masala/flora method, in which a fragrant mixture is worked onto a bamboo stick and shaped by hand.
🌸 Nag Champa became the brand’s best-known composition, followed by Super Hit and a broad range of sandalwood, floral, woody and contemporary fragrances. This mix of hand-crafted tradition and an unusually wide scent palette helped Satya become recognisable far beyond India.
At Taj Mahal, Satya can be explored in several formats, including classic incense sticks, selected smudge-style lines and fragrance oils. It is a strong starting point for anyone who wants to discover Indian fragrance culture as a collection rather than as a single scent.
