🥨 Bikano is the packaged-food continuation of the older Bikanervala family story. The family roots go back to Bikaner Namkeen Bhandar, a small shop opened in Bikaner in 1905; later, its sweets and namkeen became well known in Delhi, while Bikano carried those flavours into modern packaged formats.
🌶️ The brand’s character is strongly tied to Rajasthan and North Indian snacking culture: bhujia, namkeen, savoury mixtures, crunchy snacks, sweets and drinks. This is not simply “spicy exotic food”, but a daily Indian snacking tradition in which salty, tangy, hot and sweet flavours constantly alternate.
At Taj Mahal, Bikano is especially fun to explore across formats — from classic bhujia and snack mixtures to sweets. If you want to understand why namkeen is such a large and distinct category in India, Bikano offers a very accessible starting point.
